According to the public accusation of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the court found the citizen of Ukraine guilty of participating in a terrorist organization (Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
Prosecutors proved in court that from 2017 to 2018, a resident of Luhansk Region served in the LPR terrorist organization. The man served as a senior rifleman of the so-called “People’s Militia”.
The convict is currently in custody.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
