Law enforcement is actively monitoring violations of parking rules in specialized spots for people with disabilities. Recently, within just a few hours of work, 8 tickets were recorded and issued to dishonest drivers in one parking lot.
Last year, a total of 1254 administrative violations related to parking in unauthorized places were registered. The fines for such violations range from 1020 to 1700 hryvnias.
It is emphasized that persons with disabilities, as well as drivers transporting such individuals, have the legal right to park in designated areas if their vehicles display the appropriate identification sign. They must also carry relevant documents certifying their disability.
Every driver should be attentive and conscious, remembering the rights of other road users and the importance of following parking rules in specialized areas.
