Yesterday afternoon, a 36-year-old driver of a Fiat Ducato car ran into a Volkswagen Jetta car on Lychakivska Street while coming out of a turn.
This was reported to the Police of the Lviv region.
Then the driver drove onto the sidewalk where he collided with a concrete pillar and the gate of the building. The car was stopped by the sign 3.34 “No stopping”.
During the conversation with the driver, the patrol officers immediately noticed signs of alcohol intoxication. Drager’s breathalyzer showed a result of 2.86 ppm.
A protocol was drawn up against the violator in accordance with part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) and Article 124 (Violation of traffic rules that led to an accident) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
We emphasize once again that a drunk driver is a dangerous driver.
