Criminals who distributed narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances face up to ten years in prison.
As the law enforcement officers established, the 30-year-old resident of Lviv together with his accomplices, a 37-year-old and a 33-year-old woman from Lviv who were previously convicted of drug crimes, repeatedly sold the narcotic drug “methadone”, as well as the psychotropic substances “amphetamine” and “cannabis” to drug addicts . The distribution of drugs took place from hand to hand in the homes of drug dealers or on the street.
On September 21, operatives of the criminal police and investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 detained drug dealers during another sale of drugs in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
During the searches carried out at the places of residence of the detainees, paper rolls with a white crystalline substance, outwardly similar to “methadone”, as well as a powdery substance similar to “amphetamine”, a narcotic substance of plant origin, similar to “cannabis” were discovered and seized. , and other physical evidence.
Everything removed is directed to expert research.
The investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Galician District Prosecutor’s Office, informed all three drug dealers of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of six to ten years.
