The accused faces a penalty of seven to ten years of imprisonment.
According to law enforcement officers, on July 25, around 6:30 p.m., on Chervonaya Kalyna Avenue in Lviv, two criminals attacked a passerby, a 42-year-old man from Lviv, injured him, took his mobile phone, and then fled.
The police carried out a complex of operational and search measures, studied the recordings of video surveillance cameras located within the framework of the “Safe Lviv Region” program, established the whereabouts of the attackers and quickly detained them.
They turned out to be two Lviv residents aged 38 and 41, who had previously been held criminally liable for committing property crimes.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings opened under Part 4 of Article 186 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been completed, the indictment has been referred to the court.
