Doctors are now clarifying the victim’s diagnosis and the question of the legal classification of the incident is being clarified.
Today, February 29, while monitoring social networks, police officers discovered a video of a younger man hitting an older man several times in the head. The event took place the day before, February 28, at around 7:35 p.m. in one of the high-rise buildings in the town of Novy Rozil in the Stryi district.
Employees of the Police Operations Department No. 1 of the Stryi District Police Department established the identity of the victim – it turned out to be a 62-year-old local resident. He is now being examined by doctors.
Police officers are currently investigating the identity of the attacker and are also clarifying the legal classification of the incident.
