The men hid from the border guards in Sheginy. Despite good hiding skills, the two “players” failed to remain unnoticed.
A “Mercedes” minibus arrived at the Sheghini checkpoint on its way to Poland. When entering the territory of the checkpoint, the driver stated that only three people were following the car, which was noted in the control ticket.
Later, during the inspection of the vehicle, the border squad of the Lviv detachment discovered a 35-year-old man who had sunk among the suitcases in the luggage compartment.
And the second man – a 38-year-old Ukrainian – chose a different tactic. He got out of the car and decided that after completing the border control, he would be able to go back and remain unnoticed.
During the conversation, the men admitted that they planned to enter Poland illegally in this way, because they had no legal grounds for going abroad.
Persons were not allowed to cross the border and were brought to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. But not only they will have to answer, but also the driver who contributed to the violators by his actions. Regarding the carrier, the border guards of the Lviv detachment sent a report to the National Police, in his actions there are signs of the crime provided for in Art. 332 of the Criminal Code “Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine.”
