During January – November 2022, Lviv patrol officers filed 20,505 administrative documents against speed limit violators.
We remind you that responsibility for this offense is provided for in Part 1 of Art. 122 (Exceeding established vehicle speed limits by more than twenty kilometers per hour) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Appropriate road signs warn of places where police officers control speed. The TruCam device is used by patrolmen to measure the speed of traffic in accident-prone areas and places where the largest number of traffic accidents with serious consequences occur.
Remember, exceeding the safe and established speed remains one of the leaders of traffic accidents.
Now it is extremely necessary to choose a safe speed of the car, because snowy roads hide many obstacles, including ice. Also, do not forget that the braking distance in snow and ice increases significantly.
