Since the beginning of this year, on the territory of the Lviv region, the police recorded 139 traffic accidents involving motorcyclists and scooter riders, 103 of which resulted in injuries. As a result of car accidents, 12 people died and 117 people were injured.
We offer several tips for drivers of both cars and two-wheeled vehicles to avoid unpleasant situations on the road.
- before starting movement, restructuring and any change of direction of movement, make sure that it will be safe and will not create obstacles and danger to other participants in the movement;
- choose a safe speed while driving in order to respond in time to changes in the road conditions;
- pay attention to the rear-view mirrors more often;
- when making the adjustment, do not forget to turn on the turn signal in advance;
- observe the interval and distance;
- be sure to wear a helmet and other protective clothing.
