During the opening of the Media Center in Lviv, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi told the media that there were no casualties among foreigners as a result of the rocket attack on the Yavoriv test site. And the information that is spread on the Internet is not true.
The Media Center itself must help foreign media to tell the truth about the war started in Ukraine by the Russian invaders and all their crimes against civilians.
“The work of this media center is extremely important, given the power of the hybrid war against Ukraine. First of all, I want to dispel another false information from the occupier. It is about the “alleged” death of foreigners at the Yavoriv military training ground. I emphasize that this is not true. Of course, since 2014, military trainers from abroad have regularly conducted joint exercises with Ukrainians on the territory of the test site, but there were no casualties among foreigners as a result of the attack on the test site, ”Maksym Kozytskyi said.
Today the media center gathered hundreds of journalists from Ukraine and other countries: Italy, Poland, Israel, etc. For the most part, everyone was interested in the functioning of the Lviv region in modern conditions – the work of enterprises, the organization of settlements of internally displaced persons and so on.
“Over the past three weeks, our region has become a humanitarian center to help people in need. Together with the city, we took responsibility for the resettlement of migrants. At present, their number is at least 200,000. However, almost a million people crossed the western border. Humanitarian headquarters in the region are actively working, the cargo comes from many European countries and we thank you for that. However, we all understand perfectly well that we need weapons to fight the occupiers. We demand to close the sky. I believe that the missile strikes 20 km from the border with Poland are a good reason for this, “said the head of the Lviv OVA.
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, Ukraine has now come to the defense of European values, but the help that is currently provided in the world is not enough. Despite all the sanctions, the enemy cannot be stopped, and therefore peaceful people and children continue to suffer. The occupiers continue to destroy the infrastructure.
“They are appealing to international companies: leave the Russian market. If you have already decided to disconnect the aggressor from SWIFT, then do it with all banks, not selective. Stop turning a blind eye to the construction of gas pipelines and let Russian oil ships into their ports. Then we will really be able to influence the invader, “the head of the region added.
At the same time, Maksym Kozytskyi called on the region’s entrepreneurs to resume their activities so that the economy would continue to operate despite the war.
