The commission considered the issue of resuming the crossing of the state border at the railway station “Rava-Ruska”

Pursuant to the mandate of the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, in accordance with the requirements of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Regulation on border crossing points and control points, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the commission carried out an examination of the conditions for conducting the types of control provided for by the legislation of Ukraine and the possible restoration of the functioning of the checkpoint at the railway station “Rava-Ruska”.
“According to the results of the commission’s survey, it was established that the appropriate conditions have been created at the Rava-Ruska railway station to carry out the types of state control provided for by the legislation of Ukraine for the restoration of passenger rail service at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint,” said Stepan Rudnytskyi, head of the department
He added that the commission considers it expedient to petition the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to restore the functioning of the international checkpoint for the Rava-Ruska passenger railway.
