In the Lviv region, the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service together with the CPC supports war victims

In particular, more than 4,000 people received financial support in the Stryi and Chervonohrad districts.

The Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service has had a representative office in Ukraine for over 25 years. It is officially registered in Kyiv and operates as an all-Ukrainian organization. Since August 2022, it has been cooperating with advisory and coordination centers that have been deployed in every district of the Lviv region.

Thanks to the coordination in the advisory and coordination centers, it was possible to correctly distribute the help from all partners for the forced migrants who stayed in Lviv region. For example, in the Stryi and Chervonograd districts, 4,210 people were given financial support for a total of 786,409 hryvnias.

Only in the last two weeks, the KCC closed 3,050 needs of internally displaced people in all districts of the Lviv region. In addition, psychologists at KCC provided 1,060 services in various institutions, and also visited shelters to analyze the needs of IDPs.

As the KCC noted, the number of appeals for the provision of services to IDPs increased significantly in January, the main focus of attention remains on psychological, humanitarian and legal services.

The Danish Refugee Council / DRC, Caritas, the Rokada Charitable Foundation, and the Right to Protection supported people in the CRC on legal issues. In humanitarian/financial matters, the following helped: “Caritas” ADA program, “Premier-Urzhans”, Solidarités International, “Zolochiv RO Red Cross Society”. Also, medical services were actively redirected to the Sheptytskyi Hospital.

We would like to remind you that IDPs and all people in difficult life circumstances can receive free legal and psychological assistance, assistance in processing payments, assistance with job search, etc. at the Consultative and Coordination Centers.

The KCC was created on the initiative of the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, and their work is coordinated by the adviser to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Halyna Bordun. KCCs work in all districts of the Lviv region.
