British volunteers arrive in Lviv region and hand over 32 off-road vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Almost 70 British volunteers arrived in Lviv region to personally deliver 32 off-road vehicles to the needs of our soldiers

“This is already the 15th mission within the initiative of our good friend, British farmer Mark Laird, called Pickups for Peace. Thus, within the mission, our defenders have already received more than 360 off-road vehicles!

It is very symbolic that we are handing over the peace pick-up trucks on the day when the Global Peace Summit begins in Switzerland. We believe that a just peace will soon come to Ukraine,” said the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi.

This time, the vehicles will be delivered to soldiers from the 24th King Danylo Mechanised Brigade, the Western Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Force and the National Guard of Ukraine. The vehicles will also be delivered to soldiers serving in the National Police of Ukraine and the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are currently on the contact line.

In addition, caring volunteers equipped the pick-up trucks with generators, medical supplies worth UAH 2.5 million, clothes for the military, all-terrain wheels and other humanitarian goods.

Thank you for your support 🇺🇦🤝🇬🇧
