According to the Galician district administration, the dry fountain on Svobody Avenue, near the Opera House, will not work on Thursday, 20 June.
The fountain will be shut down for maintenance. They will last throughout the day, so the fountain will start working on Friday, 21 June.
“Tomorrow, 20 June, we are shutting down the fountain near the Opera House for preventive maintenance. The work will last throughout the day,” explained the Galician District Administration.
This year, there are 21 fountains in Lviv: 12 drinking and 9 decorative fountains. The decorative fountains are switched off about once a month for maintenance.
