Mountain rescuers transported an injured 15-year-old boy to the foot of the mountain
Today, on August 15, rescuers received a report that a boy born in 2009, a resident of Kyiv, had been injured while climbing a mountain in the village of Volosyanka, Stryi district, and could not move on his own.
Mountain rescuers were sent to the scene and provided first aid to the boy, after which they transported him to the foot of the mountain and handed him over to doctors. The young tourist was hospitalized.
The rescuers once again remind that the mountains are not only a place for peace and recreation, but also a high-risk area where every step should be deliberate and every decision should be balanced.
Rescuers are always ready to help, but the best way to save lives is to prevent danger. Let’s remember this when we look at distant mountain peaks.
