“Today we have the final rafting within the project, where you can observe the crimson colours of autumn not from the shore, but sitting and paddling in a kayak, but not the last event. We are glad that more and more servicemen are participating with their families, which is an additional element of mental recovery,” says Taras Lozynskyi, Head of Tourism and Resorts Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
A total of 35 people took part in the trip – servicemen with amputations and injuries, their wives, children and relatives.
The defenders once again confirm that such trips are necessary for emotional recovery and are a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
The trip was organised with the partnership support of the Adrenaline Active Recreation Club (KAVA), which organised the rafting on the lake.
All trips for defenders are free of charge and are funded under the regional targeted tourism development programme.
We would like to remind you that “Travel Therapy” is a project of the Tourism and Resorts Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, which provides leisure and emotional relief for Defenders and their families.
