According to the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine:
• on the territory of the Lviv region, on May 2 in some places, on May 3-4, a high fire hazard (class 4) will prevail in most of the territory;
• in the city of Lviv: May 2-4 high fire danger (4th class).
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region warns that under such conditions, dry grass can take over in a matter of seconds, even from a kindling left behind.
Therefore, we urge citizens to be extremely careful with fire in open areas, as well as when cleaning homesteads.
