On 31 January, at 20:52, rescuers received a report that a girl born in 2020 had locked herself in an apartment on the second floor of a five-storey residential building in Chervonohrad, Ivasyuk Street.
As it turned out at the scene, the mother had left the apartment, and the girl had locked the door from the inside. The mother tried to reach the girl, but the child did not answer. The mother was very frightened and immediately called the rescuers.
The fire and rescue department used a retractable ladder to give police officers access to the apartment. After the police entered the apartment, they found the girl sleeping.
This story has a good ending, but rescuers advise us to always be safe and avoid such situations in order to avoid harming our dearest ones.
