Da Vinci fountain in Lviv will not work tomorrow due to maintenance work

According to the Halytska District Administration, the Da Vinci fountain on Halytska Square will be closed tomorrow, August 8. It will be shut down for preventive maintenance. The work will last throughout the day, and the fountain will reopen on Friday, August 9.

“Tomorrow, on August 8, we are shutting down the Da Vinci fountain for maintenance. Specialists will clean the nozzles, wash the tank, etc. The works will last throughout the day and the fountain will resume its work on Friday morning,” explained the Galician district administration.

As a reminder, the Da Vinci fountain was opened in April last year. The fountain is dedicated to Hero of Ukraine Dmytro “Da Vinci” Kotsiubaylo and all volunteers of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

By the way, there are 21 fountains in Lviv this year: 12 drinking fountains and 9 decorative ones. About once a month, the decorative fountains are turned off for maintenance. Find more information about the addresses of the fountains here.
