On February 26, at 18:48, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in Lviv, on Antonenko-Davydovycha Street, between the first and second floors of a six-story residential building, an elevator had stopped in an emergency, with a woman and a baby in need of medical care.
Rescuers from the 29th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Lviv were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the rescuers found out that a woman born in 2003 and her child born in 2023 were in the elevator. The woman lost consciousness in the elevator.
The rescuers used a hydraulic unclipper to open the elevator doors, free the woman and child and handed them over to paramedics.
