At 07:11 today, a fire was reported in Lviv on Doroshenko Street. A car “Ford Focus” was burning.
As it turned out, the driver saw smoke coming out from under the hood of the car while driving. The man immediately stopped and called the rescuers. Before the firefighters arrived, the driver tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher.
The complexity of this fire was that the car had a gas installation in the luggage compartment, so to ensure safety, firefighters localized the fire and then turned off the gas installation.
At 07:18, firefighters localized the fire and eliminated it at 07:20.
The fire damaged the engine compartment.
Nine rescuers and 2 units of special equipment were engaged to extinguish the fire.
