On September 21, at 5:16 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in an open area in the city of Mykolaiv, Stryi district.
Mykolayiv fire department went to the scene of the call.
The difficulty of the fire was the rapid spread of the fire due to the windy weather, as well as the threat of the flames spreading to the religious building.
At 5:36 p.m., firefighters localized the fire, and at 5:50 p.m. it was extinguished. The rescuers promptly localized this fire and saved the chapel from being destroyed by fire. However, as a result of the fire, dry grass and all living things that were on this territory were destroyed by fire on an area of 500 square meters, in separate cells.
4 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
