The fires were caused by careless handling of fire in the open areas of the village. Silets, the village of Hirnyk and in the city of Sokal. The fire destroyed more than 120 square meters of dry matter and garbage on an area of 15 square meters.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and prevented the fire from spreading to a larger area. 2 units of special equipment and 9 personnel were involved in the liquidation of occupations.
The Chervonohrad District Department of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv Region calls on citizens to stop burning stubble.
We remind you that setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law in the form of a fine:
– for citizens from UAH 3,060 to UAH 6,120
– for officials from UAH 15,300 to UAH 21,420
