The children took part in the “LYUBOKRAY” campaign.
42 children who are pupils of boarding schools in the region, as well as children relocated to Lviv Oblast from the war zone, joined the “LOVE COUNTRY” action and planted a green avenue near the grave-monument of Prince Svyatoslav.
“As part of the campaign, orphaned children, children deprived of parental care and children of IDPs who suffered as a result of the war planted tree saplings in the Carpathian Massif National Nature Park “SKOLIVSKY BESKIDS.”
The goal was to create unforgettable memories and teach children new skills through personal development and communication in a relaxed atmosphere. And we succeeded. The children listened to a lecture from the National Park staff on environmental care, how to properly plant trees, and a master class was held for them on making and placing aviaries for birds, which contribute to the development of creativity and imagination in small and young craftsmen,” said the head of the Service in of children’s affairs of Lviv OVA Volodymyr Lys.
In addition, there was an excursion to the “Tustan” fortress, where the children visited and saw a part of the history of our country. After a delicious lunch, the children visited the Kamianka waterfall and received sweets, hygiene products and souvenirs as a gift.
The event was organized by the charity fund “Guardianship of the Future” with the assistance of the BF “New Horizons for Children Ukraine”, as well as the Children’s Service of Lviv OVA.
