On April 26, Ukrainians and the whole world remember one of the worst disasters in the history of mankind – the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. 37 years ago, thousands of firefighters fought a desperate battle against the radiation threat.
That is why, today, the participants of the movement of young rescuers of Novoyavorivsk general secondary education institution No. 1, Yavorivska gymnasium named after Osip Makovey and Yavorivska general secondary education institution No. 3 named after Taras Shevchenko honored the memory of those who gave their lives for others with a minute of silence, and also studied the history of the largest man-made disaster on the territory of Ukraine.
And finally, the experts of the State Emergency Service presented diplomas to members of the wives of young firefighters for the best radio dictation from Psa Patron to the International Mine Awareness Day, which took place on April 4, 2023.
