From May 15 to 18, 2023, parks, forest parks and green areas of the Lviv City Territorial Community will be treated for ticks. Therefore, residents are asked not to visit the parks during this period.
The Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Department of Urban Planning of the Lviv City Council concluded an agreement with the Regional Communal Enterprise “Prophylactic Disinfection” regarding acaricidal treatment with an insect acaricidal agent. Parks are treated to prevent the breeding of ticks and to minimize bites to residents of Lviv MTG. Areas near playgrounds, paths, recreation areas, etc. will be processed. The total processing area is more than 136,000 m2.
