In Lviv, 100 winners of the “Successful Teacher” competition were awarded – 70 school teachers, 25 kindergarten specialists and 5 out-of-school workers. All winners received 25 thousand hryvnias each.
For the eighth year in a row, the Department of Education of the Lviv City Council has implemented the “Successful Teacher” program, the purpose of which is to support talented and gifted teachers and improve the quality of educational services. This year, the Department of Education received more than 300 applications from educators. Among these participants, 100 winners were selected and received cash prizes today.
“I am convinced that each of you can write a book about work in times of coronavirus and war, and these books will become world-class bestsellers. Because how much you experience in your experience remains only inside you. Children, parents, alarms, missile attacks, online and offline studies – it’s all on your shoulders. We love, honor and respect you very much, because you are the best,” said Andriy Sadovy, the mayor of Lviv.
The award ceremony took place today within the MEET UP educational forum.
