All-Ukrainian initiative “Active Community” organizes and conducts a regional debate tournament on political reforms in the city of Drohobych.
Debating is an intellectual game that develops critical and analytical thinking through discussion around a single topic. All over the world, debates are used to develop a culture of discussion and develop democratic values. It is debates that help to develop the civil environment and teach how to make rational, balanced decisions.
Students of grades 10-11 are invited to participate

Debate topics:
This chamber must return the party’s reporting to the NAKC.
This chamber should introduce a jury trial, in which the jury will decide the question of a person’s guilt in committing a crime.
This chamber should promote the openness of the Parliament during the war (Yuriy Mykytyuk)
This chamber should adopt a code of ethics for a member of Parliament.
Debates are held in Ukrainian. Debate training will be organized for the participants.
The format of the debate is the British debate.
The debate will take place on November 14. The place and time of the event will be announced later by the organizers.
The event is held as part of the “Active Community: The Right to Choose” project, which is supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
