The Lviv community continues to support the Ukrainian army. Over the past year, the city has purchased and donated UAH 9.4 million worth of equipment and drones to military services, and another UAH 6.7 million is a subsidy for military aircraft.
The head of Lvov, Andriy Sadovy, told about this.
In the past, the city purchased and handed over to its employees: 49 drones, 10 ecoflos, Valkyrie UAV, 6 monitors, 45 telephones, 5 uninterrupted life devices, 7 TVs, 5 brackets.
“We purchased equipment, drones, and Valkyrie UAVs for the amount of 9.4 million hryvnias. The additional subsidy for military production is 6.7 million hryvnia. In this case, they planned to spend more than 1 billion hryvnia to support the military,” said Andriy Sadovyi.
Guess what, Berezna Lviv supported the army by 75.6 million hryvnia.
By the end of the year 2024, Lviv supported the army by over 119 million UAH. And in the budget of the Lviv community for 2024, only 1 billion hryvnia was allocated for the purchase of equipment and necessary equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
