It is frosty and snowy in the Drohobytsk community for several days. Therefore, communal services worked in an intensified mode to quickly clear roads and sidewalks of snow, as well as sprinkle them with a sand-salt mixture.
Both vehicles and employees of the city’s communal services were involved in this work, clearing the paths and sprinkling them – for the safe movement of pedestrians.
As the Mayor of Drohobych Taras Kuchma emphasized during Monday’s hardware meeting, communal services have coped with the task assigned to them. However, businesses must also participate in the cleaning and beautification of the area adjacent to their facilities. In particular, clean the area in front of the store or cafe from snow, take care of order in the area adjacent to the object, and after the snow melts, remove the accumulated sand.
Clearing snow and sprinkling paths near shops, shopping centers, offices, food establishments, etc. is a direct business obligation.
According to the head of the community, the line of responsibility of both business and community residents cannot end at the threshold of a private building or institution. In such matters, everyone should show awareness and take care of public order and good neighborliness. After all, the order around us depends on every resident of the community who lives, works and uses the public space here.
At the same time, inspectors of the department of security and control of the Department of Urban Economy provide explanations to businesses regarding the limits of responsibility and compliance with landscaping rules during commission inspections.
