Today, the session of the Lviv City Council supported the Memorandum on cooperation between the Lviv City Council, the Novoyarychiv Village Council, and the Murovan Village Council regarding the intention to find common ways of developing the Gamaliv reservoir.
“Thanks to the cooperation with the Novoyarychiv village council, the Murovan village council, we want to jointly work out ways to develop the Gamalyiv reservoir. Namely: improving its ecological condition and recreational attractiveness for community residents,” explained Taram Kubai, director of the urban planning department.
Therefore, the Memorandum envisages the joint development of a Program of measures for the cleaning and development of the Gamaliv reservoir and other water bodies – reducing pollution and increasing the sports and recreational potential. A special working group will be created for this purpose.
We will remind you that in December of last year, the session supported the signing of a Memorandum on cooperation between the Lviv City Council, the Pustomytiv City Council, the Sokilnytsk Village Council and the Basin Management of Water Resources of the Western Bug and Syan Rivers regarding the intention to find joint ways to ensure the cleanliness of the Shchyretsky Reservoir (Lake Navaria), Shchyrka Rivers , Malechkovich and Kovyr.
