The City Hall of Lviv bought our defenders another batch of the most necessary items for the front line with the funds of the community. These are drones, drones and EcoFlow portable power plants for a total of UAH 8.3 million.
In particular, these are 44 drones, the Valkyrie UAV and 10 portable EcoFlow charging power stations. Today, this equipment was handed over to the defenders.
We will remind you that Lviv constantly allocates funds for the defense capability and support of the military, which protects Ukraine from the Russian invaders. According to the city’s support program for the Armed Forces, at the request of military brigades and units, the city buys what is urgently needed on the front lines today, or provides subventions for it. These are drones, cars, walkie-talkies, various specialized technical things. In fact, the City Hall receives several requests for such assistance every day.
In general, in January-March 2024, Lviv supported the army for almost UAH 195 million. And in the budget of the Lviv MTG for 2024, only UAH 1 billion is provided for the purchase of equipment and necessary means for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
