The road surface of the bridge leaves much to be desired, so in order to avoid emergencies, repairs were undertaken.
In the village of Topilnytsia, Sambir district, repairs have begun on a bridge crossing. The bridge, which is about 120 metres long, is located on the local public road C141713 Strelki – Novyi Kropyvnyk.
“Three years ago, approximately 13 kilometres of this road were repaired. What remains to be done is to restore the bridge crossings that are on this road and need repair,” explained Orest Shulikovsky, Director of the Road Department.
The road surface of this bridge is in poor condition, with critical potholes and inadequate water drainage revealed during the inspection, which leads to waterlogging and destruction of bridge structures.
“In order to prevent further destruction of the structure and avoid emergencies, it was decided to carry out a set of works to arrange drainage and restore the asphalt concrete pavement,” said Yuriy Buchko, Deputy Head of Lviv Regional State Administration.
The repair work is being carried out by the contractor Shlyakhovik-T LLC.
