For more than 20 years, the People’s Vocal Studio “Chervona Ruta” (founder and manager Ivanna Eichhorn) has been cooperating with the Charitable Foundation “Fond Merkle”. At the invitation of the German side, the team annually goes to Germany with concerts.
On Monday, April 3, members of the “Red Route” together with representatives of the Merkle Foundation in Ukraine, Galina Tomkiv and Taras Bogonos, returned from the jubilee concert for the 50th anniversary of the Merkle Plant (AHP Merkle) in Freiburg, Germany, where they had the honor of presenting Ukrainian culture, and brought 22 thousand euros, which the Foundation provided for the creation of a cultural youth center.
Also, a commemorative book with 50 of the most significant events in the history of the company was specially published for the great anniversary of the Merkle Plant. Among the significant pages of the plant’s life is cooperation with the People’s Vocal Studio “Chervona Ruta”!
600 guests from 18 countries of the world (Spain, Portugal, Norway, Hungary, Poland, USA, Brazil, India, China, etc.) were invited to the big anniversary concert, and they joined the fundraising for the Ukrainian project.
The performance of “Red Ruth” by the trio of Kateryna Kushnir, Diana Regan and Ivanna Eichhorn, as well as the accompaniment of violinist Volodymyr Kravchuk, enchanted the audience with the beauty of Ukrainian voices, melodies and songs. This underlined the words of director Kristen Merkle, that “Red Ruta” is the face of the Merkle Foundation.
Note that the specified sum of 22,000 euros is only a part of the funds, and the entire project will be implemented with the financing of the Renata Merkle German Charitable Foundation and the Merkle Foundation in Ukraine. The idea of creating the Center belongs to the head of Chervonaya Ruta, the director of the Chervonograd People’s House, Ivanna Eichhorn, and the head of the Merkle Foundation Foundation, Halyna Tomkiv.
