The mayor of Lviv appealed to the National Police regarding the plot with an unfinished school in Bryukhovychy
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, once again appealed to the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhivskyi, regarding the situation with the possible illegal seizure of a plot of land in Bryukhovychy on the street. Shirokiy, 2. We are talking about the territory of the unfinished school, with an area of 3.4 hectares, which in 2020, a few days before its liquidation, the former village council gave for development free of charge.
Therefore, the mayor Andriy Sadovy asks the head of the National Police:
– take measures to stop any preparatory or construction works on the specified territory: these lands must be preserved and used in the interests of the residents of the Lviv community;
– to verify the legality of the decisions of the former Bryukhovytsia settlement council regarding the permanent use of this plot and the write-off of the unfinished school from the balance sheet and the legality of the actions of the officials who made such decisions;
– to investigate the nature of the origin of funds in the PPO “Association of Disabled Defenders of the Fatherland “Lviv Sanatorium” and the financial possibility to dismantle the unfinished school and carry out a new construction.
“I hope for a fair and impartial investigation of this criminal proceeding and bringing to justice the officials of the former village council who committed such arbitrary and illegal actions regarding the community’s lands and the premises of the unfinished school,” says the letter addressed to the head of the National Police.
In addition, residents of Bryukhovych also collected signatures at the prosecutor’s office against the development of almost 3.5 hectares of land.
We will remind you that the plot of land was given for permanent use by the NGO Enterprise “Association of disabled defenders of the motherland “Lviv health resort”. The organization declared that it plans to build a rehabilitation center for war veterans on this land. However, as it turned out, the rehabilitation center was supposed to occupy 500 square meters. with 44,000 sq. m. of the total area of new construction.
After the creation of the Lviv City Territorial Community, the city turned to law enforcement agencies, therefore, a criminal proceeding was opened, which has not yet been completed. Later, the judicial authorities twice imposed and twice canceled the seizure of this land plot. Meanwhile, in October of last year, the city stopped arbitrary work on preparation for construction and dismantled the illegally installed construction fence.
As of today, the arrest on the land plot has been canceled. Despite the repeated appeal of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office regarding the imposition of an arrest, as of August 29, the Halytskyi District Court did not consider the petition.
