On April 5-7, the Ukrainian Wushu Championship among adults, boys and juniors took place in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region.
The team of athletes of the Drogobytsk Territorial Community won a number of victories at the Championship, and young athletes became prize-winners in their age groups and individual sections of the program.
In general, about 200 athletes from 8 regions of Ukraine volunteered to participate in the competition.
The team of the Drohobytsk Territorial Community consisted of 7 athletes who performed in different age groups and represented the Lviv Oblast national team.
Some of the athletes from Drohobytsk were at such high-ranking competitions for the first time and had the opportunity to perform on the same field together with the best athletes of Ukraine, overcoming certain fears and worries.
In general, our athletes took the following places:

Anastasia Andibur – 3
Victoria Tydash – 3, 3
Kateryna Starinshchak – 3.
Sofya Ilnytskyi and Olga Kravtsiv from Drohobycha were a little short of points, but these young athletes still have a long way to go.
Traditionally, at the competitions, the soldiers of the Armed Forces were thanked for the opportunity to hold the Championship and develop sports in Ukraine.
In addition, three wushu athletes from Drohobychchyna have gone to the 15th Spring Dragon International Wushu Tournament, which will be held in Catanzaro (Italy). Volodymyr Kunytskyi, Maksym Kuzmych and Kyrylo Suprunenko took part in the competition, so we wish them successful performances and victory.
