Tonight, the road near the house at 31 Petliury Street will be blocked: Lvivvodokanal will be laying water pipes
Tonight, on 28 August, from 22:00 and until 05:00 on 29 August, Petliury Street near the house number 31 will be blocked. The blockage will be caused by the laying of a new water supply line, which will be carried out by Lvivvodokanal repair crews. According to the utility company, the water supply will not be cut off during these works.
“At the end of 2023, we received an old pumping station at 28 Petliury Street, which supplies water to 4 houses. Since this station is very energy-intensive because of the old pumps, we have developed a project to reconnect these 4 houses to the pumping station on Sadova Street. To do this, we need to lay about 400 metres of new pipe, 160 mm and 110 mm in diameter.
To avoid inconvenience to anyone, the work will take place at night. There will be no water supply disconnections due to these works,” Lvivvodokanal said.
Thus, tonight they will be laying approximately 30 metres of 110 mm diameter pipeline across the road. Therefore, drivers of private vehicles are asked to avoid this section of the road, as the work will begin at 22:00.
