In a difficult time for Ukraine, former students of the sports school – Vitaliy Tower, Kiral Igor, Koval Andrey, Petrovsky Taras, Crack Igor – involved the sponsor and managed to overhaul the swimming pool at the Sokolany Youth Sports School.
Thanks to the sponsors from the Danish Textile, a modern ventilation system was made in the pool, new heating and microclimate in the swimming pool were made. With the assistance of the People’s Deputy Yuriy Kamelchuk, funds on the subsidy from the state budget for socio-economic development were allocated, as well as the funds of the city council (co-financing of the micropro-project) were allocated. For this money it was possible to replace the tile and carry out finishing work in the pool. Our children are our future, so they must create the best conditions for them for their development.
According to the director of the Sokolyana Junior Sunsers, about 300 children attend swimming classes every week. Three swimming coaches are now working with children.
