In Truskavets, the “Warm Hub” for forcibly displaced people from Berdyanskyi district has opened. Only according to official data, thousands of forced migrants from the Zaporizhzhia region were registered in the Drohobytskyi district, and about 80,000 in the entire territory of Ukraine.

This was announced by the head of the Drogobytsk RVA, Stepan Kulinyak.

The official name of the hub for IDPs from Berdyansk Region is “Branch of the Information and Resource Center of Berdyansk District”.

It is located at the address: Truskavets, str. I. Mazepy, 23B.

The initiators of the opening of the Center were the leaders of the Berdyan district with the support of local benefactors and patrons.

“We, as the local district government, will support the work of this Center for IDPs and our compatriots in general in every possible way. As a sign of this, today together with the head of the Berdyansk district military administration, Oleksiy Bakay, signed a memorandum on cooperation and mutual assistance of the Drohobytsk and Berdyansk districts. On the day of the opening, a generator was brought for the “Warm Hub”, and later we are preparing a batch of new aid.

Our compatriots, their native homes, which are currently under enemy occupation, really want to return home. They had their relatives and the warmest memories there. At the mention of this, tears come to their eyes, because there is nothing more valuable than a native home. We strongly believe that their wish will come true as soon as possible. And now, without division into north, south, west or east – we help and support each other. We are all Ukrainians and we are all at home – in Ukraine! At the end, everyone sang the National Anthem of Ukraine together,” Stepan Kulinyak noted.
