Patriotic education in educational institutions always has a decisive role in forming a stable position of a citizen of Ukraine who has knowledge about the value of the state. It is under the influence of educational work in educational institutions of Ukraine that patriotic values are formed in the younger generation.
So, today at Veliko Mostivskyi Lyceum, the opening of a completely updated, modernized, filled with new equipment “Defense of Ukraine” office took place. Funds for arranging this space were allocated from local and regional budgets.
The mayor Yaroslav Royko and the head of the department of education, culture and tourism Halyna Bulyk arrived at the ceremony, who congratulated the students and thanked the director of the lyceum Iryna Pagutyak for close cooperation and mutual understanding on the way to the implementation of this project.
After all, educational equipment for studying the subject “Defense of Ukraine” must correspond to the current school program. Mastering the fundamentals of defending one’s country requires the acquisition of practical skills and abilities, and for this, students need to be given access to a variety of training tools and equipment. All equipment should increase students’ interest in the topics of this program discipline, create patriotic thinking, emphasize the importance and value of strengthening the defense of our country.
A variety of equipment for field practical training is collected here: bulletproof vest, helmet, gloves and tactical glasses, etc.; interactive equipment: laser shooting range, multimedia complex; models of various types of weapons; printed educational materials and stands on various topics: military-patriotic, medical, Revolution of Dignity, state symbols of Ukraine.
The interactive laser shooting range, thanks to which the teacher can effectively train his students in aiming shooting skills with pistols, submachine guns and rifles, was of the greatest interest to all those present. Students will have the opportunity to practice shooting skills, working with different types of targets.
A master class on target shooting with various types of weapons using an interactive laser shooting range and weapon mock-ups was conducted by the teacher of the subject Oleg Bozhik. Even the mayor tried his skills and got a good number of points. Children also joined these competitions with interest and eagerness and showed their skills in advance.
The subject “Defense of Ukraine” arouses genuine interest in students of any age. In order to maintain such a mood and motivate children to study harder, it is necessary to properly equip the space, which they tried to do at the Velikomostiv Lyceum, because there is a lot of interesting things in the classroom.
