Horodok district is in mourning again. Our fellow countryman from Mshany, Roman Yaroslavovych Sotnyk (born on 01.12.1978), was killed in action for Ukraine.
The sad news was announced on 3 February at the Horodok City Council.
The defender’s life was cut short on 1 February in the Donetsk region as a result of life-threatening injuries from a blast wave and enemy shell fragments.
We share the indescribable pain of the great loss with the wife and two minor daughters of the Hero. We express our sincere condolences to all the family and friends of the soldier who laid down his life defending each of us, our Ukraine, freedom and independence.
