The sad news has once again shaken the Lopatyn territorial community.
A resident of the village of Stremilche, Soroka Oleh Petrovych, born on 18.08.1975, died a brave death while performing a combat mission in the hot Kupiansk sector.
On 5 February 2024, our Hero died as a result of an artillery shelling in the village of Synkivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. He fought his last battle on the front line. He was bringing the Victory closer, he wanted to free his homeland from the Nazis. And to return home.
To his family, to his home, and to live peacefully, quietly. But the Defender returns home on a shield. And his native land, for which he gave the most precious thing – his life – will take him to eternal rest.
Let us pray for the repose of the bright soul of the Hero. The heavenly army has been replenished with one more warrior. And on earth, there is one less bright person. War takes away our best sons.
Thank you, Hero, for your feat. Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased – his wife Svitlana and two children Olya and Romchyk.
