The Loss of Cadet Roman Gavryliv: Life, Education, and Preparation for Monasticism
Roman Gavryliv (June 25, 1981 – February 20, 2025) was a cadet of the 2nd training mechanized company of the mechanized battalion of the military unit. Born in Stryi, he studied at school No. 2 and at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. He spent the last seven years living in a monastery, preparing for monastic life. He passed away in the training center from a heart condition.
