Commemorating the Memory of Defenders in Sheptytskyi District
In the village of Savchyn, in the Sokal community, the memory of Bohdan Pashkutskiy and Roman Pavlyk has been honored. Memorial plaques were installed and consecrated on the facade of the local school where the defenders studied.
Relatives, friends of the fallen defenders, as well as representatives of authorities and clergy, and community residents participated in the event.
Bohdan Pashkutskiy
- Lived in the village of Savchyn. Served in the mechanized battalion of military unit A4447. Died on July 20, 2024, during a combat mission near the settlement of Pobieda in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region. The soldier was 52 years old.
Roman Pavlyk
- Born in the village of Huta. Served in the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces. Died on August 28, 2024, during a combat mission near the village of Cherkaskie Porichne in Kursk region. He was 42 years old.
