Tomorrow, on 14 May, the community will say goodbye to the Hero Stanislav Kovalev.
The sad news was reported by the Chervonohrad City Council.
The mourning cortege will meet at 13:00. Immediately after the meeting, the funeral service and funeral rites will be held at St Volodymyr’s Church. The warrior will be buried in the Alley of Heroes at the Benduzha Cemetery.
Stanislav, 28, who defended Ukraine in the ATO/JFO area, was one of the first to meet the enemy during the Great War, fought back and was killed on 6 March 2022 during a combat mission near the town of Volnovakha, Donetsk region.
Also on 14 May, Hero Oleksandr Zhupko will return to his native community forever. On this day, at 20:00, a funeral service will be held at St Volodymyr’s Church.
The funeral will take place on 15 May at 12:00. Oleksandr Zhupko will be buried in the Alley of Heroes at the Benduzha Cemetery.
Senior mortar gunner of the mortar platoon of the military unit A4007 Oleksandr Zhupko died on 8 May while performing a combat mission near the village of Arkhangelske in Donetsk Oblast.
