The athlete is competing in the MH5 class, a category of athletes who compete in a seated position on handbikes, i.e. propel the bike using the upper shoulder girdle.
The competition programme consists of a separate start race – ITT – over a distance of approximately 25 kilometres. And also a group race – RR at a distance of 60-65 kilometres.
In this class, Pavlo will compete with athletes from 14 countries. In total, representatives of 48 countries will take part in the para-cycling competition.
