The final day of the championship of the Lviv region in checkers-64 among men and women took place
The competition is hosted by the Lviv general educational sanatorium-boarding school No. 1 named after Antonich 20 chess players from the cities of Yavoriv, Drohobych, Turka, Novy Rozil, Lutsk, Smila and Kyiv took part in the competition. The competition was monitored by judge Ivan Ilnytskyi.
Considering the composition and rating of the players, the Yavoriv team performed quite successfully.
3rd place among women was taken by Solomiya Kunanets, who was overtaken by experienced players, candidate for master of sports Maryana Biyan (silver) from Turka and master of sports, European champion Zoryana Anisimova (gold) from Novy Rozil.
4th place was chosen by Maksym Kvasniak, who scored the same number of points as Honored Master of Sports Ivan Fidyk, who took the third place.
The 6th place was taken by Mykhailo Shchegolskyi, who was ahead of two candidates for master of sports in checkers in the general table.
Ivan Shchegolskyi and Yuriy Tistechok finished 10th and 11th, playing on a par with experienced adult chess players.
