On May 28, at 12:30, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the open area of Chervonohrad on the street. B. Khmelnytsky
The Chervonohrad fire brigade was sent to the scene.
It turned out that the fire was caused by burning garbage. The fire spread to dryness and, due to windy weather, spread over a large area.
The fire was contained at 1:27 p.m. and extinguished at 1:50 p.m. As a result of the fire, dry grass and bushes were destroyed by fire in separate cells on the area of 2000 sq.m. and garbage on the area of 30 sq.m.
The fire was extinguished by 6 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment.
Rescuers of Lviv region once again remind that burning garbage, dry grass, shrubs and other vegetation is prohibited, and is punishable by law in the form of a fine:
📌 for citizens from 3,060 to 6,120
📌 for officials 15,300 to 21,420
Remember that fires in ecosystems can also have serious consequences, including uncontrolled spread of fire to residential and nearby buildings, destruction of the fertile soil layer, death of animals and, moreover, fire can take lives.
Have common sense and understand that such management brings only trouble.
