New participants in the family education institutions of Lviv — two girls and two boys, who were officially welcomed into families today at the meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council. Three little children were part of the ‘Support Center for Children’ in preschool institution No. 5, who will henceforth receive care in a family-type children’s home in the community. One 12-year-old boy, who was previously raised in the center at ‘Prosvita’ lyceum, has become the firstborn in the new family.
‘It is extremely important for us when children find a loving family that accepts them, creates rooms, buys clothes, and does everything possible for the best conditions. The feeling that children find their new home — is indescribable emotions,’ shared the ‘Service for Children’s Affairs’ of the Lviv City Council.
Currently, there are 21 foster families and 12 family-type children’s homes in the Lviv community, caring for 29 and 87 children respectively. All those who are concerned and wish to provide children with the warmth of a family hearth are invited to contact the relevant service in the Lviv City Council.
