“I’m used to working at night. We don’t get tired”: the story of the doctor of the stabilization point of the 80th ODSHBr from Lviv Oblast

Previously, Yuri treated civilian patients near Lviv.

Worked as a phlebologist – treated varicose veins. He was also an emergency surgeon. Now a man in the 80th separate airborne assault brigade is saving the lives of our paratroopers. He admits that he never worked in civilian life with mine and explosive injuries. But in two months of service under Bakhmut, he had already adapted.

“These injuries are similar to the consequences of road accidents or accidents with a grinder or circular saw. Such injuries happen here every day. Got used to everything. Evening, night – constant work. I’m used to working at night. We don’t get tired. We rest during the day or whenever there is time. Our team is good. It’s nice to work because everyone is positive. The mood is good, the victory will definitely be ours!” – responds the doctor.

The man considers Donetsk region beautiful. True, I haven’t had time to look at anything, except for the stabilization point, but he is not upset. He says that he will know the beauty of Donetsk region after the victory.

“I am motivated so that the enemy does not come to my city of Lviv and my house. And also that my children do not go to war in the future. Every Ukrainian must stand up for Ukraine. And then there will be victory! My children, wife and parents give me strength. And also cases when I provide help and a person survives. In general, family is the main thing we stand for here. And our state is also a family,” says the doctor.
